Mardra Sikora believes in the power of words and uses both fiction and non-fiction to advocate for and with her adult son, Marcus. Her essay “Arguing Eugenics” was honored as a Tom Howard/John H. Reid Fiction & Essay Contest finalist and she is extremely proud of her latest project as co-author of The Parent’s Guide to Down Syndrome released in January by Adams Media.
