Mark Wiener and Linda DiGusta

Resolve40

Artists Mark Wiener and Linda DiGusta found themselves inexorably drawn to the heart of the art scene in NYC when they met in 2002. When Mark co-founded the e-zine Resolve40 in 2005 to create a publication where readers could tap into the artist's insights into the world of art, it soon became a vehicle to share their insights, presented in unconventional styles derived from Linda's literary background and Mark's past adventures in the magazine world. Since then, as editors and writers, they have presented content created by themselves and contributing artists that cuts through the art-speak and financial focus to invite and tempt readers to examine and experience more art in their own lives.

Mark Wiener is a NYC artist who studied under Bauhaus influences at Philadelphia College of Art, where he focused on painting and photography, which led him to begin his career as a photojournalist in the 1970's. In 2005, combining his immersion in the NY art scene with his extensive editorial experience and enthusiasm for magazines, he co-founded, with artist Mark Stone, the online art & lifestyle publication created by artists, Resolve40. Now Editor-in-Chief, he finds balancing the life of a painter in his Chelsea Studio with keeping a finger on the pulse of museums and galleries around town adds a keen perspective to both. http://mwienerarts.com
