With a long and solid background in business and industry, Martin Scaglione was a natural choice to lead ACT's Workforce Development Division.

Appointed president of that division in 2007, Scaglione's primary responsibilities include oversight of development, operations, marketing, analytics, business development, and strategic initiatives for ACT's workforce-related programs and services.

Scaglione began his career with Maytag, where he worked for nearly 20 years.

Following Maytag, he worked for Bosch-Siemens Household, where he was the North American managing director, executive vice president, and chief operating officer.

A native of Des Moines, Iowa, Scaglione graduated from Drake University with degrees in economics and marketing.

Scaglione is married to Lisa. He has two grown children and a granddaughter.
