Mary Beth Asher is an Executive Sales Director of the Asia Pacific Sales Organization. She successfully covers upwards of a $900M sales revenue stream covering 14 country markets. Her role consists of effectively managing 170 Salespeople and overall responsibility of Asia Pacific Regional Operations.

With over 25 years of telecommunications sales experience in diversified global businesses Mary Beth is charged with the achievement of sales targets and client satisfaction levels. Besides managing various core client programs in the Asia Pacific region she plays a vital role in bridging relations between the Asia Pacific sales teams and the US sales teams.

Together with Sales Vice Presidents, she is the main driver for ensuring sales forecasting accuracy and achievement of sales objectives. In addition to leading executive client meetings, Mary Beth has a leadership role in coaching and mentoring other sales leaders.

In addition to her current role in 2010, she led the sales and customer divestiture of AT&T’s Domestic Japan Operations to a third party company, which was valued at $300M.
Mary Beth led the management and care of AT&T’s 300 customers and 40 salespeople.

Her previous roles across frontline sales and marketing were characterized by leading and managing sales and operational teams responsible for winning and servicing prestigious multi-million dollar contracts. Her diverse expertise includes market analysis, forecasting, contract negotiation and marketing communications.

Mary Beth was awarded AT&T’s Top Recognition Award, Diamond Club, in 2002, 2004, 2005 and 2012. She was one of only thirty-seven leaders across AT&T selected for the 2013 General Manager Accelerated Development Program (GM ADP) – a year-long, intensive AT&T experience designed to advance business acumen and increase strategic perspective as preparation for future leadership opportunities.

She holds an MBA in International Marketing from the Fairleigh Dickinson University, in New Jersey and a BA in Economics and Finance from the University of
Illinois in Champaign.

Mary Beth resides in Hong Kong with her husband where she enjoys yoga, hiking and cooking.
