Mary T. Crowley

Mary Crowley shares the belief that people will protect and care about what they get to know and experience. Thus, she created Ocean Voyages Inc to provide people with amazing experiences throughout the global ocean on sailing vessels, motor yachts and expedition ships. Her concern for ocean conservation and health, spurred her to launch Ocean Voyages Institute in 1979 as a 501(c)3 public charity, based in Sausalito California and Project Kaisei an international ocean clean up initiative founded in 2009. Mary is devoted to continue to explore and protect the worlds oceans, and is actively working on a range of environmental issues including ocean pollution and marine sanctuaries.
