Youth Employment Specialist, International Labour Organization (ILO)

Matthieu Cognac began his career in the private sector before joining international development organizations in Latin America and in Asia where he has managed technical assistance programs geared toward financial inclusion, local economic development and youth employment.

He joined the International Labour Organization (ILO) in the aftermath of the 2004 Tsunami in Banda Aceh, Indonesia. In 2010, he joined the ILO Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific in Bangkok, in capacity of Youth Employment Specialist.

Matthieu holds a MBA from Nicholls State University in the U.S.
