Melina was raised in western North Carolina, where she currently works in a large health system as a nurse leader. She is an ER nurse by background in a very busy trauma center, and shares on her blog some of the trials, tribulations, successes, and joys of her practice there. She is married to a paramedic and they have 4 little girls. She is a lover of life and all that it brings.
