Michelle Prudhomme-Coleman has worked in higher education for the past ten years, five as program coordinator and diversity liaison at Texas Woman’s University, where she is responsible for helping others develop effective intercultural communication and interaction.

She inspires others to gain and expand self-awareness about their own lived experiences in order to become culturally competent citizens in an increasingly global society.

Michelle has delivered multiple presentations to a wide variety of audiences ranging from university personnel to community organizations. Michelle’s workshops and trainings allow others to explore diversity in a “safe space” using interactive activities and practical examples. She is a Public Voices Fellow with The OpEd Project.
