Monica Stevens-Kirby

I'm trying to kill Supermom, but she keeps shaming me through the mirror.

Monica Stevens-Kirby is a mom, wife, adjunct instructor of Psychology, licensed marriage and family therapist, writer and artist. Her personal essays, poetry, and paintings have been featured in The Huffington Post, elephant journal, Family Therapy Magazine, and BROAD, a social justice publication of the Women and Gender Studies Program of Loyola University. Monica's clinical work is primarily within the context of working with adult and child victims of sexual abuse. Monica has also devoted time to learning American Sign Language, volunteering with the d/Deaf population in her community and presenting to scholarly and service groups about working with marginalized populations.
