Nancy Fish received her Masters Degrees in social work and public health from Columbia University in 1984. She also received a BA in English from Barnard College. She has had a private psychotherapy practice in Northern New Jersey since 1998 and also works part-time in the practice of Soho Obstetrics and Gynecology counseling women with acute and chronic sexual pain. She uses an eclectic approach with her clients, combining psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral and family life cycle therapy. Nancy specializes in the areas of chronic illness; however, a significant portion of her private practice focuses on women and men suffering from sexual pain. Nancy has successfully helped both women, men, and their partners overcome many of their emotional challenges. She is the co-author for the book, Healing Painful Sex: A Woman's Guide to Confronting, Diagnosing and Treating Sexual Pain.
