As Chief Revenue Officer and President of AOL Advertising, Ned Brody oversees AOL’s global O&O advertising, global network business, sales, and advertising and publishing products. In addition to overseeing the AOL Advertising sales force, Ned oversees the AOL group. The focus of the AOL group is to position AOL as a global partner for leading publishers, advertisers and agencies seeking to maximize the value of their online brands through premium formats, video, content, networks, platforms and monetization. The eight businesses that make up this Group are, ADTECH, AOL Video, goviral, Pictela, Content Solutions, 5min Media and Sponsored Listings.

Ned previously served as AOL’s Executive Vice President of Paid Services, where he led the company’s paid services including management of dial-up and premium broadband subscription services as well as the development of new paid services.

Previously, Brody was founder and CEO of ARPU, Inc. a company that focused on increasing the average revenue per user for companies like McAfee, Dell, and AOL. ARPU had been designed as a spin-out of AOL, where Brody worked as SVP of Premium Services from 2003-2004.

Prior to his AOL and entrepreneurial career, Brody was the CFO of Looksmart, an early search monetization company. Earlier in his career, Brody was a partner, founder of the Internet practice, and head of the San Francisco office of Mercer Management Consulting.

Brody holds a B.S., magna cum laude, and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
