She has worked with victims/survivors of human trafficking and also networked with other national and international anti-trafficking organizations. She brings to the table a deep understanding of a broad scope of women’s issues as well as a compassion for victims and a determination to link arms with other abolitionists in order to end modern day slavery.

In an earlier career Nita started, built and sold a successful printing business. Additionally, she has worked as an Associate Pastor, worked with domestic violence victims/survivors concerning faith issues, and holds a Master’s Degree in Theology with a concentration in Women’s Concerns.

Nita lives in Central Oregon. She and her husband Dan, have been married over 26 years and are parents to two grown children, and have two grandchildren.

In her leisure times, she loves being with her family, she is also an avid Major League Baseball fan, and enjoys fishing, hiking, biking, snow shoeing, and enjoying all the beauty that Central Oregon has to offer.

Nita is available to present to groups everywhere by doing specific trainings or simply bringing awareness. She has an enthusiasm for life and is known as a powerful motivator who will impact any group to which she has the opportunity to present.
