Peg Perl is Senior Counsel for Colorado Ethics Watch, a nonpartisan nonprofit organization that holds public officials and organizations accountable for activities that undermine the integrity of government in Colorado. Before joining Ethics Watch in 2012, she practiced for over a decade in Washington DC, including public service positions as counsel to the U.S. House of Representatives Ethics Committee and as a policy attorney with the Federal Election Commission. Her work at Ethics Watch combines advocating for policy reforms in the legislature and executive branch with litigating complaints in the areas of government ethics, campaign finance, and open records. Mrs. Perl also teaches as an Adjunct Professor in the Law and Society program at the Colorado Women's College at the University of Denver and serves as Board Chair of the Women’s Lobby of Colorado.
