Ralph Dittman is a Houston-based physician whose specialty is obstetrics and gynecology. He is an active member of the Genetics Policy Institute, which is an international and national level stem cell advocacy group. As well, he is an active member of the Texas Association of Medical Research which is a state level stem cell advocacy group. He has appeared on radio, given testimony before state legislative bodies, and written extensively on stem cell research. He is the creator of a nine volume set of DVD’s entitled The Stem Cell Primer, covering all aspects of stem cell research, from basic science to bioethics, law, patents, business, and advocacy. He trained at Harvard, Baylor Medical School, and Stanford Medical School. As well, he holds an MPH from the UT School of Public Health. He has written for numerous magazines including Priorities, Saturday Evening Post, and Reader’s Digest. He has written several novels and prize-winning film scripts. His web site is www.rdittman.com.
