Rebecca Kukla is Professor of Philosophy at Georgetown University, where she is also a Senior Research Scholar in the Kennedy Institute of Ethics. She is the author of Mass Hysteria: Medicine, Culture, and Mothers' Bodies, as well as various other books and articles on the bioethics, philosophy of language, and philosophy of science. She lives in Washington, DC and Tampa, FL with her 12-year-old son and her very old Shiba Inu.
