Renata Moreira

Renata Moreira is the Policy and Communications Director of the Our Family Coalition and has advocated for LGBT-inclusive policies within the public and private sector in the U.S. for over a decade. She and her partner Lori Bilella are among the designated "spokescouples" for the Breakthrough Coalition, a group of organizations working in California to increase support for same-sex couples who want to make a public and lifetime commitment through marriage. Renata is a Brazilian-American Gender & Sexuality educator, writer, and trainer. She holds a cum laude Bachelors of Arts in Political Science and a Masters of Arts in Gender Studies.
