Rohini Ross

Divine being expressing through a very human experience of wife, mother, coach, author, and teacher of spiritual principles.

Rohini was born in London, England to a Sri Lankan father and English mother. She was raised by her mother and moved to Canada as a child. Rohini had a difficult childhood and during her college years she became overwhelmed and would find herself incapacitated by anxiety and depression. This led her to begin practicing yoga and meditation, and opened a doorway for her to experience her divine nature. During this time, Rohini met her husband and moved back to London to reunite with her father. Rohini’s husband was a fashion photographer and introduced her to the world of modeling. Despite getting a late start in the industry, Rohini had a successful international modeling career. Rohini convinced her husband to move to LA in 1995. It was here that Rohini discovered the University of Santa Monica. She immediately enrolled and went on to become a licensed Marriage and Family therapist.She is sought out for her specialization in Spiritual Psychology. She is co-author of the book, “Chaos to Connection: Nine Heart-Centered Essentials for Parenting Your Teen”. She has been teaching Faculty at the University of Santa Monica since 2011, and currently has an international coaching practice with her husband offering transformational intensives. It is her intention to support herself and others with fully embracing their human experience in service to living their full potential by awakening to the magnificence and ordinariness of their divine nature. Rohini lives with her husband and two teenage daughters in Topanga, CA. She loves to hike with her dog Bella, read, watch films, eat delicious food, and spend time with friends and family.
