Freelance, Emmy winning journalist

The rewards of traveling alone on a global walkabout are the people along the way who become part of the narrative. There’s magic in those minutes or hours when lives intersect and strangers from faraway places share an experience before journeying on. Those interactions kept me company as I schlepped my 50-pound bag and my camera through 20 countries. The wandering continues. I am a freelance, Emmy award-winning journalist who anchored and reported at television stations in Austin, Phoenix and Seattle.
