Scott Ballum is an entrepreneur and sustainable business advocate, founder of the digital magazine Sheepless champions "Community Makers", the small businesses who make our communities more sustainable, more accessible, more creative, and more fun.

Previously, Scott created ConsumeRevolution, a self-published magazine critiquing consumerism and the myth of "more choice" propagated by big box stores—which later prompted the ConsumeReconnection Project, a year-long experiment meeting the people who made everything he bought, with a focus on traceability, buying local, and conscious consumption. He has been featured in GOOD Magazine, Adbusters, Resurgence (UK), Step Inside Design, and All Things Considered on NPR.
