Civil Rights Attorney; Co-founder of the Coalition Against Workplace Sexual Violence

Sheerine Alemzadeh is an attorney at the Chicago Alliance Against Sexual Exploitation and a co-founder of the Chicago-based Coalition Against Workplace Sexual Violence. Sheerine litigates under a variety of federal, state and local laws to achieve workplace justice for survivors of sexual violence. She provides expertise on labor rights, sexual assault and sex trafficking to government agencies, victim advocates and labor organizers. She has written on the intersection of gender and labor issues for the Chicago Reporter, the N.Y.U. Review of Law & Social Change, the Michigan Journal of Gender & the Law, and the Wisconsin Journal for Gender, Law & Society.
