Spencer Penn

Spencer Penn is a Robotics Engineering Masters student at the University of Pennsylvania. He is passionate about applying new technologies through business.

He is a founder of Sweet Bites, a social venture that sells chewing gum that prevents tooth decay to children living in urban slums. The company has received grant funding from The Wharton School and is a global finalist for the prestigious Hult Prize -- a $1 million dollar seed funding competition sponsored by Bill Clinton.

Spencer graduated from the Wharton business school in 2014. As an undergrad he was elected Class President for four consecutive years, representing 2,500 students. Prior to starting his Masters, Spencer had worked at a bunch of different places, including the investment banking division at Goldman Sachs in New York City, CITIC Capital Partners in Shanghai, and US Senator Mark R. Warner’s office in D.C.
