Sunia Zaterman joined CLPHA as Executive Director in 1994. She has over thirty years experience in housing issues at the federal, state and local levels. From 1994 to 2004, she also served as Executive Vice President of the Housing Research Foundation. Prior to her tenure at CLPHA, she served as the Director of Research and Development at the Alexandria, Virginia Redevelopment and Housing Authority and the Executive Director of the Travis County, Texas Housing Authority. In addition, she has worked at the Texas State Legislature and the New York State Housing Finance Agency. She holds a Masters Degree in Urban Planning from Princeton University and a Bachelors Degree in History from Barnard College, Columbia University
