Marc H. Morial President and CEO, National Urban League

Marc H. Morial, who has been described as one of the few national leaders with both “street smarts” and “boardroom savvy,” is President and Chief Executive Officer of the National Urban League, the nation’s largest historic civil rights and urban advocacy organization. He served two highly-successful terms as Mayor of New Orleans, and presided over the U.S. Conference of Mayors. Previously, he held the office of Louisiana State Senator and headed an active, high-profile private law practice in New Orleans. He is a leading voice on the national stage in the battle for civil rights and social and economic justice. A graduate of Georgetown University Law Center and the University of Pennsylvania, he has been recognized as one of the 100 most influential Black American by Ebony Magazine, one of the top 50 Non-Profit Leaders by NonProfit Times, one of the 100 Most Influential Black Lawyers in America and was inducted into the International Civil Rights Walk of Fame in Atlanta.
