Terrie M. Williams is a Professor of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at the University of California at Santa Cruz, and is author of The Odyssey of KP2: An orphan seal, a marine biologist and the fight to save a species (Penguin Press, 2012). Co-founder of the Center for Ocean Health at Long Marine Lab, she has studied dolphins, whales and seals in the wild and at aquariums for over 30 years, most recently focusing on the endangered Hawaiian monk seal.
