Terry K Carr is a non-fiction and fiction author living in Los Angeles and is currently promoting a memoir about leaving one young son behind in LA in 1970 and moving with her two other children to Paris, France. Before writing non-fiction and fiction, Terry wrote songs and performed regularly with a sketch musical comedy trio at The Comedy Store in Hollywood and The Ice House in Pasadena, California. After playing the LA club circuit as a soloist she taught songwriting at Chino Men’s Prison and later enrolled in a writer’s program at UCLA.
