Founder, 49 prince street; Co-founder, Oceans 5, Energy Options Network and Target Zero
Tracey Durning is a social change strategist and entrepreneur. She is the Founder and CEO of 49 prince street, which builds and supports organizations, projects and campaigns aimed at large-scale social impact. Under the 49 umbrella, she also works alongside a variety of philanthropists in their areas of interest.
In marine conservation, she is a Co-founder and board member of Oceans 5, an international funders' collaborative committed to protecting the five oceans of the planet.
In climate change, she is a Co-founder of the Aligned Intermediary, a new investment intermediary that will identify, screen, and assess high-potential companies and projects for commercial investment that could also produce impactful and profitable solutions to climate change, a Co-founder and board member of Energy Options Network, a nonprofit organization created to increase the portfolio of zero-carbon energy options available to accelerate large-scale global energy system de-carbonization, and a Co-founder of the Electrification Coalition, a bipartisan alliance of business leaders committed electric vehicles at mass scale.
In animal welfare, Tracey Co-founded and is the CEO of Target Zero, a nonprofit organization that mentors proven best practices to local leaders in cities nationwide to help them get to zero kill of all adoptable shelter animals.
As a former filmmaker (ie, Freedom Writers), journalist/producer (ABC News, CBS, CNN, MTV) and pr/social media campaign builder, she often integrates storytelling and technology into raising awareness, deepening dialogue and prompting action around complex issues.
She sits on the board of directors of Oceans 5, Energy Options Network and the Maasai Wilderness Conservation Fund.
