Viridiana L. Benitez
Psychological scientist, educator, and promoter of diversity in science
Dr. Viridiana L. Benitez is a psychological scientist who researches how humans learn language. She is an NSF Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Waisman Center, and a Visiting Scholar in the Chican@ and Latin@ Studies Program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Dr. Benitez actively helps students from underrepresented populations get involved in science. When she’s not in the lab doing research, she’s hanging out with her family or dancing cumbia.
