Zubin Menon joined Oceanit in 2009 and focuses on the commercialization of new technologies. He works in conjunction with the technical teams to understand technologies being developed at Oceanit, and convert existing client projects into future projects and business.
Zubin has lived, worked and studied in Malaysia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Canada and the U.S. He holds an Asian History degree from the University of British Columbia and an MBA from the Shidler College of Business at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa. In the summer of 2008, he spent time in D.C. and the Marshall Islands as one of eight Department of the Interior Island Fellows selected from graduate business schools throughout the nation.
Prior to joining Oceanit, Zubin served as a legislative aide to Senate Majority Leader Gary Hooser, a copywriter at Loomis-ISC, and as a high school teacher at Sacred Hearts Academy.
In his spare time he plays tennis and cricket, and does his best to keep his 22-year-old Nissan 300ZX running.
