Perhaps it was an attempt at humor to insinuate that Obama is a terrorist-loving, communist ghetto drug thug, but it will go down as perhaps the lamest right wing column in modern history.
Brooks distances himself from right wing blowhards like Bill O'Reilly and Rush Limbaugh, but essentially advocates the same policy positions without the bombast, and a lot of fancy words.
Andrew Sullivan is a self-styled Adam Smith conservative. The problem is, Sullivan, like most of his conservative friends, hasn't actually read Adam Smith's work.
Brolin's performance is certainly worthy of an Oscar, and his mastery of Bush's body language and speech pattern is remarkable. It is worth seeing the film for that alone.
