Israel's international standing has plummeted to an unprecedented low -- and the number of Palestinians killed has concurrently soared -- specifically because of Israel's having done much too much for peace.

The Goldstone Report is, indeed, deeply flawed. But it is exactly what Israel needs and as long as the country ducks the report, it will not recover from its current state of shock.
