I am from Seattle and although we've never met, I feel your pain all the way over here. I'm an advocate for homeless youth and out here, every day is a risk, especially if you're a person of color.
Equally interesting about the city's so-called focus group is that not one of them was a homeless person or an advocate out on the streets or else I would've seen them by now. The focus group was slanted from the beginning.
How can say you serve the community if you pick and choose who gets your help? Groups must work together to solve a crisis that affects everybody, not just members of their own churches.
