Report on Low Racial Desegration Depicts Less White Flight

A recent report concluded that racial segregation in U.S. cities is at its lowest in a century. Though great news, I do not believe that the demographics have shifted because of an intentional desire for racial integration. Given the current economy, it is just harder for spatial racism to exist.

Intention vs. Impact: Roland Martin and the Gay Community

Intentions do not mitigate impact, but explaining our intentions and apologizing do increase understanding and create a civil and respectful society. I hope that our gay community is able to accept Roland Martin's intentions as his truth.

Interracial Marriage for All Americans

Well into my adult years, despite the fact that I preached diversity, I held the belief that black men should marry black women and conversely, black women should marry black men. I have grown to learn how wrong I was to hold that belief.
