I'll be blunt: an increase of 40,000 troops would be a joke, if it didn't mean the needless deaths of Americans at a greater clip than we're seeing now.
I have never supported hard timelines in Iraq, I don't even think we should "leave tomorrow," but to increase forces just shows blatant disregard for the troops in harms way.
