I was a student in Tennessee. My memories of that day are unremarkable but I'm sure similar to those of my peers in other areas far from the epicenter of the attacks.
With all of the negative press against Facebook (going public, anyone?) I can't help but wonder if it's slowly but surely going the way of MySpace.
There's nothing quite like the crackle of vinyl as the speakers warm up. Mp3 files are ridiculously compressed -- you don't get that with vinyl. It's one of the purest ways to listen to music.
