Chevy Chase Vs. 'Community': A Brief History of Chevy Chase Being A Jerk

| Posted 04.01.2012 | Entertainment

The word "difficult" has been thrown around so often in the last couple of days as a way to describe Chase, that it may be time for a refresher course on what exactly that means. Now, this isn't to say that Harmon doesn't get his fair share of the blame - scolding Chase in public, with Chase's family present, seems like a low blow -- but, well, Chase does have a history. Especially when it comes to another NBC series, Saturday Night Live.

'SNL': Kristen Wiig, Andy Samberg And Jason Sudeikis Reportedly Leave And More On The Future

| Posted 04.05.2012 | TV

Just five shows remain in what will forever be known as "The Kristen Wiig Era." Sure, "SNL" isn't in any danger of being cancelled; but being irrelevant is perhaps a fate even worse than death for this show.

This version is called American Reunion because, well, all of the main characters attend a reunion. As a service, we answer every question you could possibly have about American Reunion.

'Once' The Broadway Musical Versus 'Once' The Film

| Posted 04.06.2012 | Entertainment

Last week, I attended the Broadway production of Once, which is based on the film version of Once. I do not attend Broadway musicals often, but (A) I liked the film version of "Once," which focused on these two unnamed, star-crossed, musically-gifted lovers and (B) I'm oddly fascinated by film's relation with Broadway. Regardless here are the seven things I learned while attending the Broadway production of Once.

'SNL' Scorecard: Sofia Vergara Wins The Battle Of Expectations

| Posted 04.08.2012 | TV

Sofia Vergara sure does like to yell. And she's quite talented at doing so. She was better than expected, if, for no other reason, the show put her in easy situations.

'The Cabin In The Woods': A Spoiler-Free 25 Questions

| Posted 04.12.2012 | Entertainment

On Friday, after a three-year delay, Drew Goddard and Joss Whedon's The Cabin in the Woods finally arrives in theaters. The problem with trying to discuss The Cabin in the Woods is that even the slightest bit of information could ruin your viewing experience of a film that should really be seen knowing as little as humanly possible. It's gotten to the point where some serious mudslinging has been directed at those who dare spoil even the most minuscule of Cabin details. So, as a service, we don't answer any question that you could possibly have about The Cabin in the Woods.

'The Lucky One': An Obsessive Chat Between Mike Ryan and Indiewire's Matt Singer

| Posted 04.19.2012 | Entertainment

In theaters now is The Lucky One, the latest Nicholas Sparks romance novel brought to the big screen. The film stars Zac Efron as Logan, a Marine who returns home and attempts to locate the girl in a photo he found in Iraq. A photo that, through luck, winds up saving Logan's life. This search leads Logan into a series of events that are quite preposterous. So preposterous, in fact, that Matt Singer (from Indiewire) and I decided that an Obsessive Chat was in order. (Spoiler alert, obviously.)
