Barney Saltzberg is a children's book author/illustrator/singer/songwriter. A native of Los Angeles and for some reason, he says, he still lives there. He lives wife and three dogs and a pond full of fish. His adult children live in New York and Boston. Barney has published over thirty books and has recorded four CD's of music for children. Once a year Mr. Saltzberg teaches a class at UCLA on writing and illustrating picture books. Barney Saltzberg travels around the country speaking about writing and illustrating and playing music.
