Be Scofield is the founder of, a new site that combines spirituality and social justice. She's the most read blogger for Tikkun Magazine, writes for Alternet and is a Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. scholar. Be was the recipient of the Alton P. Pfaff cup for all around graduating student from Warren Wilson College and is currently finishing her Master's of Divinity at the Unitarian Universalist oriented Starr King School for the Ministry. She serves on the board of directors of Peaceworkers US, a non-profit dedicated to promoting nonviolence around the globe.
