I am a local and wish to welcome everyone to Washington, DC. I will be on the National Mall welcoming all with a sign that says "Free Hugs for Republicans--and those that love them" because I feel under all the anger and bitterness is just a hurt, scared person that needs a little love and support as a first step to understanding. We'll see how it goes.

Essentially, the Daily Show has cooked up a rally for wishy-washy people who believes that other people are “insane” for being enraged by a corrupt and out-of-control government that increasingly ignores We the People, while bowing to Wall Street bankers, corporate interests and the military-industrial complex.

Yes...just like Bush did for 8 years...where the F were you all THEN? I'll tell you where WE were...we were the ones screaming to high heaven for it to stop...to NOT go to war, to NOT continue to deregulate, grow government, engage in warrantless wiretapping, torture, rendition, slash the taxes for the rich and hand out no bid contracts to shoddy, fraudulent contractors...to NOT give Israel blind support for their human rights violations and to be more transparent and less 'patriot act'.

We were paying attention. You only wound up 'outraged' by it all when a black man took office. But hey, he's continuing EVERYTHING you were silent on for nearly a decade. So is his race you're real problem?
