In political news, former Republican Governor of Alaska and Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin has hit it rich again in the book world. Despite the November 17th release of "Going Rogue: An American Life" -- her tell-all book about her political rise -- Palin has already decided to "write" her even newer tell-all book which will thoroughly document the "writing process" of her shitty book that critics have labeled "the best beach read since Keyshawn Johnson's Just Give Me the Damn Ball!"
"We are absolutely thrilled about Sarah's brand new tell-all book," said HarperCollins executive, Tim Lakers. "Sarah worked really hard on Going Rogue: An American Life, but I don't think people will appreciate how arduous the process of finding a good ghostwriter is just by reading an embellished memoir about a person who doesn't believe in dinosaurs. Anyway, we felt the necessary next step was to have her write a tell-all book about that tell-all book. Sarah was a bit overwhelmed at the idea initially, but she quickly accepted our offer of five million dollars and a 12-pack of fruit rollups. We're hopeful that it will be even shittier than her current tell-all book."
HarperCollins predicted that the new tell-all memoir will be released sometime in 2010. According to sources close to Palin, the first chapter will cover how Palin sat in a beauty salon all day while her first book was written by a much smarter person who was in dire need of money.

Promise me that they won't be making it into a musical.

If it is, hopefully it has an Othello-type ending.
It would only be better, if sitting on said pot, that it was pornographic. Otherwise, what's the point?

Who's to say that there won't be a nudie spread of Sarah Palin in her book? If she's going to be open with the public, she might as well be full frontal about it, right?
Shouldn't there be an added tax on things like Palin's book? Kind of like a junk food tax...

I believe former Mayor Giuliani instituted a prostitution tax in the '90's.
In this case, the only one who gets a happy ending is the prostitute herself. I wonder if that's covered in Guiliani's law.
Wow. Comments are allowed. I cannot believe it!
With that being said, aren't a lot of trees being wasted on this woman's self-indulgent musings?
Oh, yeah, that's the credo of the modern conservative -- whothehell cares about TREES when we can cover our book shelves with every comic book, every paperback, every coloring book, every biography, every autobiography, every tell-all, every magazine cover story, every anthology, EVERYTHING EVER WRITTEN about Sarah Palin!!!!

Yes, I allow comments. I don't know why some other bloggers don't, but hey that's their decision.
I couldn't agree more about your point. This book isn't exactly going to be a classic piece of literature - something that would actually be worth the paper it's being printed on. It's the type of book that will sit in your bathroom, getting thumbed through every time you sit on the pot. Nothing more, nothing less.
But most importantly, it will make this woman millions. Her hard work as Governor and as a VP candidate will finally be rewarded, and the true, intelligent, and inspirational Sarah Palin will most certainly come through. But you'll only understand this once you fork over that $15.
