Who Dat! The Top 10 New Orleans Saints Songs (VIDEO)

By now it should be obvious. The Who Dats are just a little more passionate about the New Orleans Saints than professional sports fans in other cities. There are currently at least 35 different Saints-related songs available on YouTube, and whole albums of material available elsewhere. Here are 10 of the best Saints songs on YouTube--10 of the greatest anthems of the Who Dat nation. To all my fellow citizens, new and old: sing along with pride. Who dat!

K-Gates: Black & Gold (Who Dat!)

If this year's Saints season could only have one theme song, this would be it. Local hip-hop artist K. Gates raps over a sample of Ying Yang Twins' "Halftime (Stand Up & Get Crunk)," the song played in the New Orleans Superdome after every Saints touchdown.

The city is pumped and you can't go anywhere without seeing Saints' gear. We are having a parade for our team the Tuesday after the Superbowl win, lose, or draw.......but we're winning baby!

As much as I love Carnival Time, he just doesn't quite, er, nail that performance, and it's the only version of the song available on YouTube...
But in general, yes, I'm 100% in support of any Saints "remixes" of any canonical NOLA songs. In fact, I hear there's a musician working on a Saints "Iko Iko" remix as we speak...

Je suis un fille indiginique de la Nouvelle Orleans. I moved away 10 years ago to Los Angeles. Wish I could have been around in New Orleans this football season. I miss that city so much! Okay, now...get ready...It's a statement...not a question....Who Dat, baby!
