Ben Patrick Johnson is a novelist and human rights activist. His most recent book, IF THE RAINS DON'T CLEANSE, deals with culture clash and questions of faith in 1950s colonial Congo. Johnson is Director of his own small foundation and serves on the boards of Equality California Institute, the NOH8 Campaign and the Gay Men's Chorus of Los Angeles. He is a major supporter of the Task Force's Institute for Welcoming Resources and member of the Council for American-Islamic Relations.

Johnson is one of Hollywood's leading promo and trailer narrators and is an enthusiastic user of social media for advocacy and activism.
