Mr. Zogby is the son of John Zogby, President and CEO of Zogby International. Ben Zogby recently returned from Beirut, Lebanon, where he was a Rotary Scholar pursuing a masters degree in Middle East Studies and Arabic at the American University of Beirut when the conflict in Lebanon began. He escaped into Syria and Jordan, eventually flying home to New York.

A graduate of the University of Virginia in 2002 with degrees in history and philosophy, prior to arriving in Lebanon, Ben worked for 3 years in Washington, DC. He worked for a year for Ralph Nader at the Center for the Study of Responsive Law as a research and writer on Middle East issues. After that, Mr. Zogby worked on Capitol Hill for 2 years as a legislative aide to Representative Nick Rahall (WV-3). In the fall he will begin law school at Georgetown University.
