Pamela Anderson meets Kat Von D meets Dolly Parton. Do not be fooled by her thick southern accent, brutal honesty and intricate artwork adorning her body. A child of the adult industry, Bethany is able to debate a point in an educated, rational manner. At 16 years old, Bethany began traveling the country, making the most out of what life had unintentionally taught her – combining her beauty and her brains to live off the kindness of strangers. Before making her mark as one of the country's favored courtesans, she became very well versed in the art of seduction and sensuality.
At the age of 28, Bethany desired to find a legal means to do what she enjoys. Sheri’s Resort and Spa- the country’s largest and most exquisite legal brothel – gave Bethany the knowledge and experience about the politics, health codes, and even her no apologies stance on anti-decriminalization of prostitution. Her journey through life has also given her an interesting perspective toward relationships, as well as personal and sexual empowerment for men and women. Bethany states, “I would love to see ‘Bethany St. James’ become an icon for intelligence, positive goal setting, smart politics and the appreciation of individuality without labels.”
Wanting to keep a foot in the business she loves, Bethany will continue her work at Sheri’s while branding her message of positive empowerment for men, women and communities. Bethany is a student of Sex Education studies through Indiana University and is currently working on setting up her first of many non-profit organizations. Her plans also include a clothing line, counseling centers, a skin care line, a full line of romance/beauty enhancement accessories, as well the completion of several books.

I have flaws. I am certainly not a perfect woman. There are a lot of things that I do not like about myself and no amount of plastic surgery is ever going to fix them. For example, I have a birthmark on my bum that I hate. I don't have...

All powerful, career driven women are single and lonely. All Latinos are here illegally. All Muslims are terrorists. All White people are racist. All Gay Men are feminine. All Christians are bible thumping, gay bashers. All African Americans are on welfare. All New Yorkers are rude. All politicians are crooks.

We've all seen them; the commercials for television's latest offerings blazing across our screens. Shows such as Jersey Shore, 16 and Pregnant and even the upcoming I Just Want My Pants Back do little to stimulate the mind of our youth. Although, many may argue that this type of trash...

I am a legal prostitute. A courtesan. A working girl. I am all of these adjectives and many more. I happily and proudly make my living working in a legal brothel. My blatant acknowledgement of this fact might cause your heart to race. Whether out of anger or excitement, the...

That question is back on the legislative table after more than a dozen states this year tried to push drug-testing bills for the jobless as a way to end the frivolous distribution of tax dollars being used for unemployment benefit programs. House Republicans passed a bill on Dec. 13, allowing...

Words of wisdom and life lessons are often found in strange places. In fact, most of the profound lessons that I have come to realize have been discovered in some of the most unlikely of places. Learning how to become a better person is a struggle. Learning how to become...

Priests and Porn Addiction - A Full Scale Farce

Up until recently, Peggy Fletcher Stack had remained off my radar screen. A journalist for The Salt Lake Tribune and a lifetime member of the famed Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints published a piece cleverly titled "Utah Faith Leaders Battle the Hidden Sin: Porn Addiction."

A porn star walks into a school... it sounds like the beginning to a bad off color joke. But, according to recent news it isn't a joke. It's a true story that has become a media firestorm. Most of us have read, watched or at least stood around the water...

Sex Spa Cover-Up Is a Joke

The issue of police officers paying for sex is not a new one. In fact, over the 20-year span of my career the numbers of customers I've had in uniform have been many. I would even venture to say that quite a large number of my repeat clientele have been...
