It didn't take long. On the heels of the Jimmy Fallon appearance by President Obama, an attack ad from American Crossroads, the Super PAC being "advised" by Karl Rove, hit the Internet and the airwaves, depicting President Obama as a celebrity president whose policies had failed young people.
Almost immediately, the ad was remixed by Democratic supporters. The resulting re-cut spot is far more effective as a pro-Obama ad.
Will this ability for the public to "spin the spinmeisters" and fire back almost immediately take the bite out of the Karl Roves of the world and neutralize the power of the Citizens United Super PACs in the upcoming election? Stay tuned.
