The sad and ironic thing about this Bill???.. You're right and this is true. Sad day when the Prez.. who took an oath to protect and uphold the Constitution uses it for shit like this. Congress (Dems and Reps) are both equally to blame for letting this un-Constitutional stuff take place. You know.. the after-life is really starting to look better everyday.. even if it's plain ole non-existance...God bless the children.. they are the only ones worth blessing now.

Bill, your new rules segment was excellent! I also like the realtime journalist contributions.
I have to agree with some of the other posters about Joe Scarborough. It seems like his sole contribution to the show is to prevent other people from speaking. He continuously disrupts the other panelists. He very dishonestly re-frames and diverts discussion away from important topics.
I know that these are the primary tactics of the right wing punditocracy, and I understand that it is probably difficult to find right-wing guests who don't routinely engage in these tactics.
But, this strikes at the heart of this week's new rules segment. These guys are the main reason why so many people believe so much bull$#it? I'm not saying that you shouldn't have right-wingers on your show. I'm saying that you should *not* invite guests to the show who cannot *discuss* issues *rationally*.
And, if you cannot find guests to discuss and defend right-wing positions, the high side of 90% of your audience will not miss them. But, more importantly, you will not be giving a platform, credibility, or endorsement to people who spread so much bull$#it.

The Telecoms best bet is with US - with our mercy, appreciation, and insatible consumerism. You have all th edocumented evidence we need- just give US the Nail which seals their coffins.

getting fired the 1st time must have scared the funny out of you. i've tried to watch but it's just too painful. the truth scares you bill. in order for the funny to thrive, the bare bones of the joke has to start with the truth and then you emblesh with meat and flesh. i think we've got another dennis miller on our hands. wake up bill it's truthy time.
coyne: getting fired the 1st time must have scared the funny
Yes coyne. Sad to see it go this way for Bill, we needed all the ballsy truth telling he used to bring to the party. Now he just looks like a new version of old Johnny Carson.

I know. I used to watch his episodes more than once cause they were so funny. Now, it's gotten a little ugly with that Matt guy he has on or last night with the disturbed Adam Goldberg. Bill, don't have Goldberg on again till he's finished with therapy.

Been watching the news? The MSM is all over the networks with graphics of Obama's big win in Wyoming. "Obama wins in a landslide 59% vs 41% " Very few mention that that translates into a total vote of less than 8,000 voters. No wonder the public hates the media. Only Harry Smith got it right. The last time Wyoming Democrats caucused they garnered 600 voters. This year they had a HUGE turnout - 7,500! They get more voter turn out in Possum Squat Nebraska city council races.

I would like to ask you to please stop having Joe Scarborough on your show. He just doesn't have anything interesting to say. He dominates the camera getting all fired up about stuff that is completely irrelevant. He might be a really nice guy but he doesn't add anything to the show. There are other people out there that are articulate and would do a better job addressing the issues at hand.
By the way, when you asked the panel who they'd want answering that red phone at 3:00 AM, none of them had a good response. I am a chick and I most certainly would not want my grandmother answering that phone like Farai Chideya said. My grandmother's cell phong ring is the song "Onward Christian Soldiers". And we know those people shouldn't be in charge of anything (bless her heart as they would say in the South).
I would want Al Gore answering that phone. I know he's not in the race and I'm not hanging onto that but you asked ideally who would be the best person for the job and I think Al Gore is a better answer to that question.
Could we get some people for these panels that are a bit more eloquent? You always rock... it's the others that could use a bit of help. And please, please, fewer Repulicans. It doesn't always have to be "balanced" with a good opinion and a bad one :) I love Cornell West and Arianna and Carlin--how about some people like them with some wit, humor, and who are on point!
Peace,
Karlita
Karlita: Bill, I would like to ask you to please stop
I liked Evening Joe, he is little lost on some subjects, but he rejects the way this War was handled. In fact I have to give him respect and he brought up some really good points about the media. There are allot of Republicans that feel the same way I am sure. The show was really good this week.
As far as that check goes, I get $1500.00 back, I am going to make my house payment that doubled when I we got behind, because of cost to feed my family, gas at the pump, health insurance premiums going up, and the utilities have doubled. I have five more months of double house payments, my husband and I working our butts off to make it right now, to save our house. If Government thinks this is going to be spent to help the economy, there wrong, people can't afford to live, they are going to use the money to get caught up on their bills.
Thank you President Bush, VP Cheney, and all the Republicans that put us in this predicament, Mission Accomplished, your legacy will be ruining the American Economy into the ground, while your friends got richer and richer.
jpshotwheels: Hey Bill, I liked Evening Joe, he is little lost
hmmm have we noticed , the recent panelists have been lack luster? But then hasn't Bill been showing how much he dislikes women. Bill ... dont lose contact with H Heffner....you will need that place to play,as you grow older and women grow wiser.

The same joke circulated when Bush sent out his $600 "thank you check" seven years ago. Your using re-hashed material Bill...material that isn't even yours.
