New Rule: In honor of daylight savings time, Republican candidates must say whether or not they believe the days getting shorter proves that the Earth revolves around the Sun.

While we can be certain that the Earth revolves around the Sun for a host of scientific reasons, the Earth's varying daylight hours is merely an indication that the Earth's rotational axis is not perpendicular to the Earth-Sun plane of relative motion.
Bill, you just don't get daylight saving and its biblical origin. Joshua at the battle of Jericho needed an extra hour of daylight so that he could slaughter all the inhabitants of Jericho and god obliged with daylight savings time and everyone in Jericho was killed, by all by the grace of god.I trust this revelation will enlighten you, all of you for that matter.god did it.
Bravo Bill---- you nailed these pseudo fundamentally nitwitted neocons years ago, for the real phonies they are; you were one of the most forward-looking media, along with Keith and Arianna.
I think in honor of our fundamentalist friends we should undue some of this science and technology. For them I think the first order of business would be to go back to a more Biblical setting, before the advent of sewer treatment and relocate the effluent from their sewers upstream of their water supply. Oh joyous days they would have with God's own cholera to sooth their righteous indignation of secular Liberals and their blasphemous science. Remember, just say no to antibiotics.
The most respected columnist in Iowa has just announced today his view that due to the crisis in Pakistan, Joe Biden will get much more attention and may move up to be competitive in Iowa.
Given the complexities involved in Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan and Pakistan - not to mention the on-going Israeli-Arab warfare, we need a leader who actually has knowledge and understands how to deal with these nations.
I think Hillary has cautious instincts and Barack is a serious person who, if elected, will present a new way to view America. Still, Joe Biden actually knows what to do on Day 1.
Aren't we all tired of someone running our country who doesn't know what the !$@#! he's doing?
Moreover, when the GOP goes after the Democratic candidate, who could withstand their attack best? The super-cautious three answers for one question Hillary? The rookie Barack Obama who is still a very new person on the national scene and has stated that he wants to negotiate head to head with the leader of Iran, even though he has virtually no foreign policy experience? Then there's John Edwards. He too has no foreign policy experience and in the space of two presidential campaigns has gone from a hawk on the war in Iraq to a dove.
No. The answer is Joe Biden - with Barack as his VP.

According to Giuliani, the earth revives around 9/11.
Ha-Ha. Very funny.
The Earth is flat as anyone can verify by looking out the window.
Next time check your facts, Mr. Maher.

Well, actually, Bill ... since you brought it up:
While we can be certain that the Earth revolves around the Sun for a host of scientific reasons, the Earth's varying daylight hours is merely an indication that the Earth's rotational axis is not perpendicular to the Earth-Sun plane of relative motion.
Bill,
First you have to make them understand that the earth doesn't revolved around them.

Bill please do not lump Dr. Paul in with those other GOP candidates
Thank you
PS. He supports your right to smoke pot
F*cking Brilliant!!!
Beauty! After all, John Paul II only apologized to Galilleo for his 17th century trial Some candidate probably thinks it was a premature decision...
I'd love to know if they would change their answers if they were told oil had been discovered on the Sun.
Brilliant!

It's too bad that clip cuts off so quickly, it sounded like Bill was about to elaborate on a good point.
At any rate, I guess we shouldn't be surprised that some of the religious right likely do believe the earth is the center of the universe.
After all, these are the same people who don't believe our troops should be allowed to view porn:
