Bill Rempel
Author and award-winning journalist Bill Rempel spent 36 years at the Los Angeles Times where he specialized in national and foreign investigative reporting. His work won Overseas Press Club honors and a Gerald Loeb Award, and he was a finalist for the Goldsmith Prize for Investigative Reporting. Rempel’s new book is based on exclusive access to a former high-ranking Colombian drug cartel official now hiding and under U.S. witness protection. It’s titled: “At the Devil’s Table – The Untold Story of the Insider Who Brought Down the Cali Cartel” (Random House). He is also the author of “Delusions of a Dictator” (Little Brown and Company), based on the confidential diaries of former Philippines president Ferdinand Marcos.
