It's not the prettiest or most exciting place in the world, but on my journey across Kansas, I must have heard it 20 times. "Welcome to Kansas!"
Here in the Northeast it's "You can't get there from here!" with a snicker.
That's if you have a good feeling about the person asking for directions.
Otherwise you send them into the puckerbrush at the end of the hollow!
