Charlie Black's "the Bogeymen Are Coming" Terrorism Remarks were on Purpose

Think about it.

McCain is running 15% behind in Newsweek's latest poll. Obama is leading -- on Iraq, the Economy, Health Care, Energy and just about every other category except Terrorism.

McCain's only hope is to put violent chaos back, front and center.

Black's remarks --- on why he thinks another terrorist attack on US soil would help McCain win the presidency --- were not the classic political gaffe .....that is, when a politician tells the truth by mistake.

Black is no dummy. He has been around and knew that something had to be done quickly to bring terrorism back on the agenda.

Absent a real terrorist threat, what better way to get people talking about it?

Scaring the bejesus out of every American.

Reminding everyone what McCain wants them to be thinking about ....all the time: another terrorist attack on U.S. soil. It would be a big advantage, says Black. The assassination of Benazir Bhutto helped us in New Hampshire.

Be Afraid ....... Be terribly afraid all the time.

The bogeymen are lurking out there.... just out of our sight.... and they are coming for us.

Now everybody is talking about it, and Black should be happy.

Unfortunately, he's in trouble and probably got himself on the "No Fly" list to boot, but that's what taking one for the team is all about.

The Republicans have been taking credit for no more terrorists attacks on U.S. soil since 9/11. Are they hinting that they can unleash the terrorist just in time to effect election results? Let them keep talking. This tactic will backfire this time. They had better hope this doesn't happen because they will be blamed like they should have been from the beginning.

Black is in trouble because cheney wanted to keep the terrorist attack he and his friends at Raytheon and Blackwater arranged a secret until they sprang it just before the November elections. Now, Black has let the cat out of the bag, and everyone will be suspicious when cheney's... I mean the terrorist attack comes.
