Crazy Bush Compares Democrats To Nazi Appeasers
Congressman Kucinich was absolutely correct on both counts: the UFO thing and the president's mental stability thing. Here's why. The UFO which Kucinich claims to have seen was, in fact, President Bush successfully landing his crazy jet on the flight deck of the USS Batshit. Your president at the Heritage Foundation Thursday:

Bin Laden and his terrorist allies have made their intentions as clear as Lenin and Hitler before them. And the question is: Will we listen?"
These were just a few choice remarks pulled from a mostly horrible speech by the president in which he scolded the Democrats for being terrorist appeasers, simply because they're not giving him everything he wants. I don't even know where to begin to evaluate the insanity, but I had to review the video in order to make sure he didn't end the speech by mounting Bancini's shoulders and challenging Charlie Cheswick to a pick-up game of black jack in the tub room.
Let's start with bin Laden and work up to the Nazi part.
President Bush has clearly forgotten that it wasn't the Democrats who failed to capture Osama bin Laden. The sole responsibility for the failure to capture bin Laden, in fact, rests directly on the slumped little-man shoulders of George W. Bush, the 43rd President of the United States, due to his well-documented incompetence, hubris and myopia. He also went so far as to inexplicably shut down the CIA's bin Laden unit. This has nothing to do with the Democrats. It was The Decider who decided to allow bin Laden to escape and to go on to bigger and better things, like an Evildoer Disney in northern Pakistan.
This demands restating.
The only reason bin Laden is any sort of threat here and now -- a full six years after September 11-- is strictly and in no uncertain terms the fault of George W. Bush.
The Democrats had nothing to do with this historically massive blunder. It wasn't the Democrats who looked you and me in the eye and declared bin Laden "wanted dead or alive," only to, a few months later, publicly confess to not spending much time on him.
Yet the president is shamelessly projecting his unforgivable failures onto Congress during this, his third public hissy in less than a week.
Not all of us, as George Carlin sublimely described to Keith Olbermann, have been bought off with toys and gadgets. We haven't forgotten that Congress, including the Democrats, made "the terrible mistake" of giving the president everything he asked for, over and above the bounds of reason and constitutionality. Everything. Through the first half of this decade, they allowed him to get away with the no-bid contracts, the Patriot Act, the illegal preemptive invasion of Iraq, the outsourcing of the military, the wiretapping and all of the flagrantly unconstitutional shit which has defined his presidency.
And he still failed to get the bad guy.
With a record of acquiescence as precedent, the Democrats appear to be turning a corner and are attempting to ignore his pedomorphic attempts at intimidation. Slowly but surely. So how does the president react? He spazzes out and blames the Democrats for the on-going bin Laden threat.
Additionally, in finally resisting the president, the Democrats are also accused of being appeasers -- similar to men who conducted business with Nazi Germany. Men including, say, I don't know, Prescott Bush for example.
This isn't a new tactic for this regime. I think Rumsfeld was the first to offer up this Nazi appeaser argument. Crazy ass Rumsfeld! The president should know better than to go around repeating all the backwards shit he overhears Rumsfeld saying.
Because now our Chief Executive has shrunken so small and beneath contempt as to blame the Democratic Party for potentially allowing an all new Holocaust -- in the same way the appeasers allowed Hitler to run amok and murder 6 million Jews. Now the (straw man Democratic) appeasers want to let the evildoers run free, and... what then, hmm? Hitler is to Holocaust, as bin Laden is to... what? Hint: another Holocaust-like genocide and the Democrats will surely be to blame.
In the president's withered, oxygen-deprived skull, anyone who disagrees with this analogy is, as he said today, "being disingenuous or naive." Not the neocons who repeat such nonsense. The Democrats.
That's right. The Democrats.
By not giving the president everything he wants, these unhinged so-accused appeasers, in addition to allowing bin Laden to remain a threat, could now be shoving the world down a familiar slippery slope toward horrors not unlike "gas chambers" and racial "eradication," and only George W. Bush's illegal wiretaps and torturing and failed wars can stop this from happening. You know, because his ideas have always been so awesome. Naturally, then, the Democrats had better let him have Mukasey and waterboarding. They'd better let him bomb Iran. They'd better let him continue to fund mercenary shadow armies. Because if they don't... Boom! New Holocaust!
This could very well be the most outrageous thing the president has ever said, and that includes "major combat operations have ended" and his recent World War III remark. Bloggers and talk radio hosts can get away with uttering such categorically demented horseshit, but this is the President of the United States for God's sake. This speech was miles below the high ground dignity we expect from the holder of our most cherished public office.
As such, and in this order, there ought to be a motion to censure the president brought to the floor of both chambers, and, following the censure vote, the president should publicly apologize to Congress and the American people for these statements. Seriously. He should then apologize to the survivors of the Holocaust for reducing their horrifying struggle to the level of a hackish political stunt.
Contact your senators and congressman right now and get this thing moving. Congress seems to be demanding apologies from everyone who says something offensive these days, so, by God, the president should apologize, too.
Meanwhile, per the 25th Amendment, the president needs to resign from office due to being mentally incapacitated. I know that won't happen, but it's worth suggesting anyway.

Bob, no one says it better than you. The Bush/Nazi Party analogy is dead on, the American Enterprise Institute obviously taking more than one page from the Nazi How-to book. Remember what Herr Goering said about how to get a country's population to do your bidding? Say that the country is under attack and that anyone who protests is either cowardly or unpatriotic. How dare Bill Clinton say "How dare you" to anybody in this country, anybody, much less someone who has big problems with the official 9/11 story. After the GOP-run election of 2000 how dare anyone say that there are any limits to what these criminals do? D.Rumsfeld would kill his mother 3,000 times over for unrestrained power. And yes Mr. Clinton, you're one of them, very much so.
Patriotism, or more accurately ultra-patriotism, is a source of strength for America, but can also be a source for America's weakness if not properly wielded by responsible leadership.
The Republicans have been using this ultra-patriotism as their ultimate weapon against the Democrats. Because this patriotism is so deeply ingrained into the American Way of Life, the Democrats have been consistently fighting a losing battle in the glare of public opinion and heavily biased media.
The Bush "administration" has deviously and expertly manipulated the American public's inherent ultra-patriotism for 7 years, generating an incredible amount of patriotic strength, but for intentionally wrong and misguided reasons.
The result of this, is an entire country consistantly told to fear and be afraid, and taking on a xenophobic mentality. Those in America who question the leadership about what is happening around them, and, more importantly why it is happening, are branded a potential traitor who's patriotism should be questioned.
1930's Nazi Germany and America today share many similarities in how patriotism has been used effectively against their own citizens, although their ideology is different.
These are textbook propaganda activities undertaken by the leadership in a fascist, totalitarian police/military state against its own population as a form of direct control.
First control, then belief.

Remember how the republican convention of 2004 was infiltrated with protesters even though their were 10,000 NY cops and thousands of other security operatives?
This was a sign of how effective republicans are at keeping things secure.
Of course the TV media ignored this very important clue as to how utterly incompetent Bush, the neoCONS and republicans are.

My father volunteered to fight against Nazi Germany as soon as he got out of high school. He knew what the Nazis were and fought in the Battle of the Bulge. I didn't think it was possible to think less of W until this speech. Check out the entry in Wikepedia on Prescott Bush, Sr. Prescott should have been tried for treason.

Projection, thy name is Bush. This is the most astonishingly deluded, mind-numbingly arrogant speech even he has ever given. I am in Awe, although not all that Shocked... He needs immediate treatment.
I had to look up "pedomorphic" and it was worth the time.
Congress can demand anything it wants in the way of an apology, but any response by GWBush will not be meaningful ... and it won't be an apology. When has he really apologized for anything, much less an insult to Democrats? We are the enemy, not bin Laden ... he's spent his political lifetime coming after us, and will continue to do so long after his political tenure is ended. He'll have to make all those speeches to refill the coffers, and the people who will pay to hear him speak are the same people who don't recognize him for what he is today.
I'm becoming ever-so-fond of "batshit crazy" as a term of endearment for Republicans at large. Though I believe that crazy has a right to be crazy ... batshit crazy is well beyond the rabbit proof fence.
This is old but relevant. Women of America its time for one of you, just one, to be strong and do your part. Give GWB a blow job so congress can impeach him. I know its a horrid thing to ask but think of the troops, think of the Iraqi children, heck think of the American children. ...Hey would a guy give POTUS a blow job count?

I don't even understand why we continue pretending that we are part of this government. People continue to say that they are defending some notion of what this country is. This very country that tortures "brown" people out of fear even though a fraction of Americans die from terrorism as opposed to cars.... or tobacco...
Remember, if we occupy a country, certain rich people can get richer while other people die to defend an ideal abused by the Criminal in Chief. All of the "death industries" exist because people get rich but investors pay virtually no price.
This country has become disgusting. I'm NOT proud. If we were a proud country we would have wrested power out of the hands of the corporations and their whore-like advocates in government, given them the fair and speedy trials they would deny us, and started the business of making sure children didn't die undernourished, our kids were educated and our citizens were working meaningful jobs and receiving guaranteed healthcare. We wouldn't defend the right of millionaires to become billionaires.
We are not proud. We are not serious. We are not great, and we certainly don't defend the victim. We just want to build the biggest bomb - privately (so it can't be controlled by us).
When will we remember, "We The People...?
Didn't Bush say, not so long ago, that he doesn't really think about or care about Bin Laden anymore? Its been 2237 days since he said he would capture him dead or alive. Our torture President has failed to not only make good on his promise but his policies have increased terrorism world wide

Great post, but does anyone think GWB wrote this speech? The real scary folks are the Cheney shop, who by the way have lent some of their top talent to Trudy's campaign. They never did want to get Bin Laden, it would have destroyed their own strawman. We must be vigilant for the remainder of this regime as desperate men take desperate measures.
